Can I play just with SoundMoovz?
A.
You need free SoundMoovz app to use SoundMoovz. The app is available from Google Play or App Store. Please check the compatibility before making a purchase.

Is there age regulation to use SoundMoovz?

Minimum age is 8 years old.
Q.
Is SoundMoovz app compatible with flip phones?
A.
No. SoundMoovz app is only compatible with smartphones/tablets with required OS and operating environment.

What is the OS/version requirement to use the app?

What is SoundMoovz and how to play?
A.
SoundMoovz is a motion activated wearable device. You can simply connect SoundMoovz to the app via bluetooth and make music by moving!
The app includes 400+ sounds to choose from. You can create beats and rhythm, or add effect to your favorite songs!
Q.
How many SoundMoovz bands can be connected to one smartphone?
A.
Up to 7 SoundMoovz can be connected to one smartphone/tablet. *It may differ depends on the version of the device and the environment.

Bluetooth connection might get unstable depends on the model of your smartphone/tablet.
Please try below:
  • Turn off/on the power of SoundMoovz
  • Close SoundMoovz app, turn off Bluetooth
  • Restart your smartphone/tablet
  • Uninstall the app, then reinstall
Q.
How many sounds can one SoundMoovz make?
A.
One band makes one sound at a time. 400+ sounds are available on the app.
If you'd like to change multiple sounds instantly, use preset. Preset feature lets you set up series of sounds in advance, and change the sounds immediately by swiping left and right.
We will be adding new features to the app, stay tuned for more fun updates!

Can I recharge SoundMoovz?

No, it is not rechargeable. Please ONLY use lithium coin battery CR2032.

How long the battery last?

No.

Can I connect SoundMoovz, other bluetooth device, and/or speaker to my smartphone at the same time?

We do not recommend it as it could cause audio delay.

Can I change SoundMoovz volume from the app?
A.
Yes. The volume is adjustable from "Settings" (bottom right corner of Home tab)
Q.
Can I use a speaker for lauder sound?
A.
Yes! Make sure to use a cable to connect the speaker with your smartphone/tablet. It's possible to connect via Bluetooth, but it may cause audio delay.

When does the LED light turn on?
A.
Only when;
  1. the power is on: lights up for 2 seconds
  2. the band is paired with a smartphone or tablet: flashes 3 times
Q.
What kind of movement does SoundMoovz™ sensor pick up, and how to make sounds?
A.
SoundMoovz™ has a built in accelerometer, which sensors fast moves.
On your wrists: Shake, high five or simply move your hands/arms to make sounds!
On your ankles/through shoelace: Walking, runnig, kicking in the air, or dance steps… any impact will trigger the sound!
Q.
The band doesn't fit around my ankle, is there other method?
A.
You can also put SoundMoovz on your shoes. Remove the strap, then make sure to place the SoundMoovz device between the second or third eyelets tightly.
Q.
How far can SoundMoovz reach to a smartphone/tablet?
A.
It can react until 20 meters straight distance. *The condition depends on the smartphone/tablet performance.
*Other wireless devices might interfere the connection.
Q.
Can I adjust SoundMoovz strap?
A.
Wrist/ankle size of the bandz can be adjusted from 5.6~8.9 inch/143~226mm

About Home/Sidebar

Q.
How to pair SoundMoovz?
A.
  1. Turn on SoundMoovz.
  2. Allow the bluetooth connection of your smartphone/tablet.
  3. Open the app and tap the "+" icon on the top right.
  4. On the pairing window, the same colored SoundMoovz icon will appear.
  5. Balloon will pop up on the Home screen after pairing.
Q.
How to select/change sounds?
A.
You can change sounds from the side bar. Tap the balloon icon to on the Home screen, side bar will appear. Select your favorite sounds and enjoy!
Q.
How many preset sounds are in the App?
A.
40 preset sounds are pre-installed in the app. You can download new sounds from Discover in SoundShare.
Q.
Can I change sounds of multiple connected bands?
A.
Yes. Add a new "preset" by tapping two-square icon on the top of Home screen. Then set any sounds you like to each preset page. By swiping the pages from left to right, you can change sounds of multible bands immediately.
*Max 10 preset pages can be added.
Q.
How does sensitivity work and how to change it?
A.
On the app, you can change the sensitivity of each band from the sidebar in Home tab.
  1. high sensitivity→sensitive to slight movements
  2. low sensitivity→only sensitive to fast/big movements
e.g. For children, it may be easier to play with high sensitivity.
For fast dance movements, it’s better to adjust the sensitivity lower.
Q.
I couldn't use "Effects" feature, why?
A.
You need to play BackingTrack in order to use Effects feature.
Check how to use BackingTrack
Go to the side bar in Home tab→Control tab on the right→Choose one of the "Effects". If you twist the band to add cool effects onto your favorite music!

Q.
How do I delete the balloon in the Home screen?
A.
If you hold the balloon, a trash can icon will appear, you can drag the balloon to the bottom to delete.

About SoundShare

Q.
What is SoundShare?
A.
SoundShare is a platform where you can download from more than 400 sounds to compose music and watch tutorial video.
Q.
What can I do with "Discover" in SoundShare?
A.
In "Discover", you will find MusicPack and Genre.
MusicPack:
You can create songs using the combination of longer sounds available in MusicPack. New songs will be added accordingly.
Genre:
You can download various sounds from over 400 sounds options. Once you download sounds, they will be saved in your sound selection.
Q.
What can I do with "Videos" tab in SoundShare?
A.
In "Videos", you can check app tutorials and MusicPack tutorials. If you find playing MusicPack difficult, be sure to check tutorials!
Q.
What can I do with "MyPage" in SoundShare?
A.
With "MyPack", you can download the sounds you uploaded. Click here to see how to upload sounds.
With "History", you can find all sounds you've downloaded.
Q.
How to upload my own sounds in SoundShare?
A.
  1. [on PC] Go to the uploading website on PC(https://ss.soundmoovz.com/).

  2. [on PC] Create your account, then click the "+ Create Pack" icon to upload sound files.
    (mp3, wav or m4a. Maximum length: 5seconds 〜 250MB)

  3. [on the APP] Log in to your account on SoundShare on the app. The uploaded sounds will appear on "My Packs" in MyPage.

What kind of sound files can I upload?

The maximum length is 5 seconds. The file must be mp3, wav or m4a.

About BackingTrack

Q.
What is BackingTrack function, and how to use it?
A.
You can play your favorite song which is downloaded your phone, then layer beats onto the song!
Q.
Can I add effects to a music played on BackingTrack?
A.
Yes. Go to the side bar in Home tab→Control tab on the right→Choose one of the "Effects". If you twist the band to add cool effects onto your favorite music!

Which music can I play on BackingTrack?
A.
You can play SoundMoovz app original music or downloaded music in your phone/tablet.
You cannot stream music from the app.

About Recording

Q.
How long can I record?
A.
You can record for up to 5 seconds. Press "play icon" to check the sounds. If you like your recorded sound, press "check icon (blue)" to save. If you want to delete, press "cancel icon (red)".
Q.
Where are the recorded sounds saved in the app?
A.
They are saved in the "sound list" (side bar in Home tab) under "Rec" category.
Q.
I want to delete recorded sounds.
A.
iOS: You can delete recorded sounds by swiping the sound to letft, then press "trash icon". Or you can also organize recorded sounds from the "recorded sounds list" (top right corner of Recording tab).
Android: You can delete recorded sounds from the "recorded sounds list" (top right corner of Recording tab).
Troubleshooting
Q.
SoundMoovz doesn't work, is it broken?
A.
  • Is the power turned on?
  • Is the band paired with the app?
  • Is the sensitivity setting too low?
  • Is the volume of smart device too low?
If it still doesn't work, try restart/update the app.
Q.
I cannot connect to SoundMoovz. / The Bluetooth connection is unstable.
A.
Bluetooth connection might get unstable depends on the model of your smartphone/tablet.
Please try below:
  • Turn off/on the power of SoundMoovz
  • Close SoundMoovz app, turn off Bluetooth
  • Restart your smartphone/tablet
  • Uninstall the app, then reinstall
Q.
SoundMoovz makes multiple sounds with one flick.
A.
The sensitivity setting might be too high for the movement. Try lower sensitivity.
How to change the sensitivity
On the app, you can change the sensitivity of each band from the sidebar in Home tab.
  1. high sensitivity→sensitive to slight movements
  2. low sensitivity→only sensitive to fast/big movements
e.g. For children, it may be easier to play with high sensitivity.

It's hard to make sounds, why?
A.
The sensitivity setting might be too low for the movement. Try higher sensitivity.

My battery runs out quickly.
A.
When the bands are not in use, please turn them off to save the battery. If the band is out of battery, please replace CR2032 lithium coin battery with a new one.
Q.
I was using SoundMoovz, suddenly it stopped making sounds, and the balloon looks translucent, how can I fix this?
A.
If the balloon appears translucent, the Bluetooth might got disconnected.
Tap the balloon to reconnect.
